Boy To A Man

November 28, 2014

I am the man behind the curtain but I am really just a boy. Like a child on Christmas morning without a single toy. Alot has happened to me in my life, not all good with quite a bit of strife. My mom and dad were once a couple in love, but now that part of my life is gone like a fleeting dove. I have learned that what you know can change and all your comforts can be rearranged. I adapt and grow as much as I can, all these things will make me a better man. As I get older the curtain gets smaller. This curtain can't hide me as I get taller. It was fine as a child and hid most of the pain. It even hid some of the things that were lain. I know that the curtain hides things from view, but in the end it's all perspective on what I knew. Everyone has curtains whether they are brown, black or white. It's time for me to take down my curtain and enter the fight.
