Fear

January 19, 2019

don’t know which way to go

it’s frigid and gloom here

there are two paths, two choices

both untold, two stories to unfold

I’ve got to get my head cleared

but what if I can’t let go?

can’t seem to find my way home

and what if I’m confined

to the thoughts in my mind?

I need your help,

everyone’s giving up

I need your help, dear

don’t want to go corrupt

help me fight off my fears

right all the wrongs I’ve made these years

I’m sick of writing these love songs

don’t know how to accept what’s given to me

don’t know why I can’t chase these dreams

don’t know how to fight the darkness in me

don’t know how to stop and turn the leaf

teach me how to save myself from me
