Parasite

March 14, 2016

Why do I even bother try talking to them?

Why do I even bother try hanging out with them?

If it was not for me they wouldn't be friends in the first place

I was the one that brought  these "friends"  together and yet I am exiled to a land full of lepers

I am banned from their little society that no one can join

They are conjoined at the hip

But it was me that they were friends with

And they don't even bother to invite me in

And it was me

It was me

I swear on all my future friends that it was me that igniated that flame of friendship and I was going to be part of that flame

So I thought..

We were all so close

We told each other jokes

We did homework together

Studied together

And again, why do I even bother?

Just because you knew someone doesn't mean they didn't change

Then one began to leech on to our friendship and became an external parasite that didn't want me but wanted you

It became greedy wanting more of you than me

It suckered you into loving it  but I saw past it

Yet you didn't

I thought we were going to the best of friends but you dumped me for a parasite

That is slowly sucking the nurturents that was a friendship to the point where it withered away and became non-existent

Now, I just observed you and this parasite living life

In a way I am jealous of you but at the same time you will realize too late that it is eating you a live

And wished you were friends with a real person than some parasite
