Feeling like a lone warrior facing my GIANT,
Calm before the storm... Patient, defiant;
Every warrior who came before me was defeated,
So I stand, knowing more than ever before, I am needed;
But I was born for pressure, and this is my year!,
The Lord is my Shepherd! Whom shall I fear?!;
Know ye not in Whom I'm relying? The Lion of Judah is behind me- who's this Goliath?,
Who killed the bear with his bare hands? Who slew the lion?!;
He who has consistently delivered me, From the midst of my enemies,
Will give me the VICTORY!;
I hear the voice of the Lord whisper, "FEAR NOT!,
Be of courage, prepare your sling- I'll give you a clear shot;
So your story will bring me glory from everyone within earshot,
People from different nations and generations will remember Face, and "FEAR NOT!!!";
So I stand, facing this enemy GIANT,
Poised, vigilant, silent- though inwardly smiling;
Clutching my sling, my stone is minutes from flying,
Trusting Christ for its flight, for, it's Him who will guide it;
More than all the battles behind me, THIS BATTLE WILL DEFINE ME,
When facing what lies before me, THIS BATTLE WILL REMIND ME;
To NEVER GIVE UP! To never lose my nerve,
And despite who opposes me, REMEMBER WHO I SERVE;
And though battles rage, my swords heavy, and my gear is hot...
Remain ready, aim steady, and fear not,
Though your battle rages, your sword's heavy, and your gear is hit,
