The World

August 18, 2014

The world is a ball

Spinning on it's axis

Just turning, and it seems

My mind would act this

Out

Spinning and twisting

These thoughts

About

Thoughts about life

And death and strife

And debt and all these things

that get

So heavy

And with this weight

On my shoulders i

Try to connect

To others

And shine

But the lights are dim.

The neon has faded,

And these dim signs I write

Aren't seen, but abated

And it makes me want to

Scream from the mountains

"Hear me World"

Just go out and shout it

So that i might bring light

And peace to the planet

With these pieces i write.

And these thoughts keep me up at night

Because they're just in my head,

Not in humanity's sight.
