Forward

March 19, 2019

who do I think I am? To try is certainly to fail

Fear is an anchor in my chest to weigh me down and

with every beat my heart reminds me, "You've never done this before"

but

my knees can shake but my legs will still move

my voice may tremble but I will still speak

perhaps I will not succeed, but I will try

and I can try again and again if need be

fear does not mean I can't do something, only that I haven't before

I won't know what I can do if I never try

there is only one way to find out

and that way

is forward.
