Most Importantly

August 2, 2013

All the things that I hold dear

are whispers softly in my ear.

Those helping hands and tender heart

will never have to come apart.

Always there and never gone

When I need them they are around

and help me up when I fall down

but until then

they are a friend.

The things that I hold oh-so dear

are whispers softly in my ear

of broken dreams

and broken hearts

which seem to always come apart

Always there and never gone

Unlike me they stay strong

I take and take

Give little back

But they will always hold me dear

Those whispers softly in my ear.
