Draw

June 29, 2014

Draw the sunrise to give hope in the night

Draw the ocean when it catches the light

Draw the path of diamonds in the sky.

Draw the wind and draw the sea. Draw your goodbyes.

Draw yourself the way you'll be and

Draw the starlight--something fleeting

Draw the moment--

Draw what's not light and not shadows

Draw eternity--

Draw a bridge across the darker universe

Draw permanence--

Draw the stones, the boulders that have been forever

Draw longing and bliss--

Draw the feathered sky so far from the earth, so close

Draw the hot, salty golden transluscence and the fruits of the sea

Draw whatever you dream of

Draw whatever fate you wish to change

Draw a better world.

And then go out

And make it all true.
