If you don't learn to write your own story, someone else will write it for you

3 poems·Since April 2013

Hi! I'm an upcoming freshman at Mercer! My poems may seem really sad and depressing as a reflection as a way I feel, but these poems are written out of empathy for people around. I have a friend who has a difficult mental health issues, and seeing the way she reacted differently to situations really made me think about her life versus mine. As a friend, as a female, as a human, I never want anyone to feel anything less than beautiful. We are all blessed with a life on earth to make a difference and what isn't beautiful about that?
