God Bless You

May 8, 2017

America!

God bless you if it's good to you!

You hate the pennies and the coloured,

But the change and the constitution they love!

America!

Opportunity a plenty!

But you slash and burn the crop

Along with the seed attempting to sprout.

America!

Are you blind? Can you see color?

Why have you color coded us?

You claim impartiality only when it's good to you.

America!

Land of the free! Land of the plenty!

Land of the people! Land of the Greek!

You've given us a chance just to reject us,

Once again.
