Altered Dome

July 23, 2018

The war has begun

The liquefied droplets prepare

For electrifying combat

The clouds change phase

Polar becomes dull

The sky compensates

The solar picnic

The many legions collide

Shards of light blade through

The cloak of the sky

And the movement of the

Battle flashes by

As the breeze results

From the chaos of the

Stormy skirmish

The navy dome is no longer

The color has altered

The illumination blows away

The dead soldiers fall

To the crust of the planet

Where they will serve as chow

For the pyramid of energy

One by one, the armies

Surrender, the clouds part

And the dome is restored

The picnic continues

The circle of life

Continues to spin

And peace remains
