Sinuous

July 9, 2016

Living so slick it's senational

Fooling fools out their shoes, just like the first of April

Not aiming low

My words guarantee to make them fold

I'll be remembered next December but your name will go

My name remains, rhymes sent to your brain, intention of staying

These other catchers get and complain

My minds goes entertained

Then the poem is complete

Spitting fear in the heads of those who compete

Never down in defeat

With a swisher so sweet

Counting sheep I'm about to heap

Proving anybody wrong who was doubting me

They said "Julian please pick a good career"

It appears that they fear who I'll be in a year

But I'm creating racket, entering the highest of brackets

See my life change, so drastic

Got the gift many wish they had

So you study good poetry, reading how-to-do's

Thinking that it's helping but you learning how to lose

See I was born gifted, live to get lifted, if poetry ain't my life then what is it.
