Cloud 15

July 26, 2014

I laughed then about it, when you told me never to run.

A porch full of whispy, put-anywhere feathers,

prancing around the castle of clouds.

But his eyes were absolutely straight and green as he twirled my hair down on the round mattress.

Where the feathers, and secrets, are always hidden.

Who could cry that day?

It was we, who pushed away the noise,

of the ones unlikely to approve.

Skittering along my back with cold chills.

Behind the rugged walls,

lies the other half of me.

I never thought I could forgive the screaming curse,

weighing me down.

The blue wind heaving life back into me.

The sudden light, and the glare from one bright smile.

Suddenly blown away.

He was an instigator, now a life line in a forgotten play.

A quick snap to a gasping reciever.

Who could grasp to fear?

Fired up from all the blazing insults, only to be brought back down to the tiny wonderland on the sky.

One-time habits turned into forever with you.
