Personal predator

November 14, 2014

Giggles, gafaws, chortles,

halfmoons on smiling faces.

Step into the chill

white powder, twinkling lights.

Shape-shifting shadows

chills, goosebumps, terror.

No.

Slam the door in its face

it has no place at this table.

This soul of steal is

rugged, worn.

No matter the thrash, the

slamming on the giant metal doors

Stay strong.

Stay scaring fear away.

All the worlds a stage.

Ha!

They will never know of the leaking faucets,

the skyscraper that never waivers,

the dorky dancing,

the decadent laugh.

They only see what they wish to see.

No more.
