The Blacktop

January 10, 2015

You fall on the blacktop

I tell yoy to lace up your hightops

run faster, see farther

the horizons just out of reach

California's where dreams start

New York City is where they end

I cant understand where you are going

until I knock down your friend

Blue eyes, blonde hair

tripping them all over there

Black eyes black heart

You're a real picece of art

Hope you find all the things that you need

burning up your obstacles with that feverish heat
