Anxious

August 4, 2013

Sick with worry

Literally sick

Calm my mind with nostalgia

That'll do the trick

Close my eyes just to recall

Rewired in an unfortunate way

Through the ground I fall

Wide awake and anxious I lay

A wave in the ocean

Foreseen events in my mind

A cupcakes topping

If it were only so kind

Knots in my stomach

Thought after thought

Understanding some lack

Not yet been shot

When it occurs in you

You will fret

No calm thoughts

Only regrets

Try not to worry

But it only causes more

Dark places your mind will flurry

A drop in the ocean I'm sure
