Perfectionism

March 19, 2019

I feel afraid

The deadline looms

I know I can

I'm just afraid I will lose

.

With this fear

Comes my procrastination

Why do it at all

If I can't make it perfect

.

Finally, I concede

And begin my task

Realizing that win or lose

I tried my best

.

After I finish

I take one last glance

My work isn't my best

But it is done, at last
