This seems like a good place to be since nobody is calling me out for a date. I can post my angsty poems here, too.

Stand Alone

September 23, 2019
Nobody will save you Your friends are miles away Your family is busy again Your mentors don't exist Not gonna lie, this is shit It's kinda funny how when being lonely You can be surrounded by people and still feel alone Nobody will understand you Sheltered Quiet Your Small And Awkward And even if someone likes you They'll never stand by you Feel that? The absence of warmth? It's suffocating, intoxicating, and just too much. Yet, you've been here before. You were always the last one picked You were never the one who had it You survived the onslaught of others You survived the coldness of solitude This isn't a curse It's a superpower While others huddle together You stand alone
