The Truth

February 23, 2015

Grew up with your homie since day one,

Now you're from diffrents hoods,

Shooting yo homie with da gun of betrayal,

But it was you and him making it home,

Before da street lights came on,

Grade school PAC room, sitting inside at recess, middle school oh so fresh !

Hopping of the porch?

Think you ready for the test?

Of survival of the streets?

Denial from the white man and yo kin you gotta eat

Get a birdy hit the block?

Big Homie give you a glock.

Mom found that thang, she said "THIS SHIT GOTTA STOP!"

"You putting to much stress on me!"

"Used to be in school getting all A's & B's"

"Dont even listen to me,"

"Dead or in jail is where you're gonna be."

My guys gotta open their eyes

You're not blind

Real eyes, relize, real lies...
