All Alone

December 1, 2013

I lift my ears, lift my eyes

Look up to the cloudy sky

Rain falls, soaking me

people hold their noses

Why can't someone embrace me

For who I am

For who I will be

I want to help

Those around me

Lift my paw, someone save me

Fleas cover me from head to toe

Sucking the life out of me

Cold and alone

With no one to hold

Why won't you embrace me?

Hold me skin to skin

Not with that coat

Please help me, someone help me

I'm all alone
