Hearts Beating

December 1, 2013

Take my hand feel the warmth emitting from the sand

as ashes burn I will learn not to break

Fragile soul, what more could be at stake?

Oh dear one, don't abandon me

Oh dear one, hear my prayer

Come with me, feel my heart beating

Can't you see? My life, my soul receding

Draining, preparing for the change

Don't be afraid, my soul with you I'll be

Don't be afraid, with me the answers you seek

Let me press my lips to yours, feel our hearts beating

tell me now, that our love is exceeding

Stay with me, let me whisper in your ear

Don't cry, for I'll wipe away your tears

Come with me, feel my heart beating

Can't you see? My life, my soul receding

Draining, preparing for the change

Don't be afraid, my soul with you I'll be

Don't be afraid, with me the answers you'll recieve
