Busted & Disgusted

October 26, 2016

the way some of you young boys think should have ya'll disgusted,

ya'll get arrested and worry more about new street cred rather than the fact that you just got busted,

so now you're busted and disgusted,

in your cell singing a sad song,
but in your mind you still can't escape the fact that you dead wrong

so now your're busted and disgusted, and dead wrong
but your a African American so you feel the need to act strong,

so now you're busted, disgusted, dead wrong, and fake hard,
do you really wanna know how this pans out if the play the fate card?

well let me tell you little black boy since you don't know the score...
they're gonna lock you up and get rich while your own people remain poor,

so now your busted, disgusted, dead wrong, fake hard, fate got the best of you, and your family is poor,

no worries for you though,
you're getting a shiny new jump suit, three meals a day, and out of those 24, you'll get one hour to play,

so now your busted, disgusted, dead wrong, fake hard, fate got the best of you, your family is poor, and you're on lock down 24/7,

and now your mind is so messed up that you're thinking about ending it all and taking your chances getting into heaven,

what happened to that head full of dreams you had at age 7,
I guess they were replaced by that desire to clap that Mac 11,

so now your busted, disgusted, dead wrong, fake hard, fate got the best of you, your family is poor, you're on lock down 24/7, and you wishing for a one way ticket to heaven,

but there is no one way ticket to heaven, so you serve that time and re-enter society as a convicted felon,

you're finally out but the world seems like hell,
because the only home you know is that hard cot in that cold cell...
