The opposite of me

July 25, 2013
I'm a girl with no future A girl with no path Someone who has no hope Im lost in this world of wonders Someday I want to be found So many options so little time Do I have to decide? Im more go with the flow No organization I'm socially awkward Not much of a talker I'm the nerd in the back corner Always reading the books Glasses pushed past the rim Minds overflown with info Nerves on overdrive People say I never live But in my mind I'm having fun Matter of fact studying is a ton In my house I have a mini party Just my mom and me She helps me study with flashcards Everywhere I go I see people in cars I'm little old me on my wee bike In my mind I travel at the speed of light I stare to try and figure life out But who's to say where the wind will blow I do not know This is the opposite of me Little old me Who sits in the front doodling with my best friend As she tells me about a party That I have to attend I get good grades but I'm no nerd I have glasses But they stay in their case I'm just little old me And this is what I say Who's to say where the wind will blow I do not know Because I'm just the opposite of me
