Missing: Passion

October 3, 2013

It's fine,
really,
it's nothing to worry about.
I can live
without
something on my mind, something
driving
me to greatness, something that, when I hear it on the news, I just
can't
shut
up.
I mean, everybody's like me,
right?
I'm not
alone
in thinking that everything's
fine,
that the world is
okay,
that when the time comes for me to go
out
into the wide world of adulthood, I'll
survive,
even if it's not
living.
It's fine.
It's okay.
Those childhood ideas mean nothing.
There's no need to worry.
There's nothing to fear.
I can live my whole life with
nothing.
