Queen C

July 19, 2015

One time it got silent

I looked over

She was smiling

So I threw a ten down

Said, Girl can you get that for me

She said, yeah and gave it back to me

I said girl, …

How’d it feel picking yourself up for me?

She was speechless

Then I told her

When I saw her

I thought:

Damn, if she had a man

I’d slide in her DM’s

And tell her to leave him

Say, You don’t need him

If you want me

You got me, trust me

I’m good to believe in

Then I pulled her in,

Moved the hair from her face

To see the portrait

And put a hashtag

On that masterpiece

Called it Queen C

Not a Trap Dream or B, but C

Nah not a three she mine, my dime,

She too fine like too too fine,

She getting fines but it’s fine

I’ll pay the time for that

Cause girl, I remember back

Grabbing a six pack of plats

Seeing you with that class

And an ass to match

That first feeling flowing of

Wanting to know ya,

 Show ya my life

See if you’d say

It’s alright

Or appalling

I was all in

I even told you how

I used to tell them girls

I had voids to fill

And how they’d say

Their asses were pretty big

And we could see If it’d fit

But I doubted I wasn’t about it

Now they hate me as I’m crowning

Yeah you girl,

You didn’t doubt me

But you asked me

Now how’d that feel

To have that happen

You checked if I was real

And I liked that

I hit you right back

And wrote my story

Even my worst, so lonely

I showed you the coldness

It seemed so pathetic

But then you held me

And I felt it…

Now there’s no way to forget it

You said you saw my goodness

And my warmness was addictive

When it’s gon’ you gon’ miss it

I’ve seen what you’ve been writing

And boy that’s more than enticing

It’s just so real and I love that feel

You can tell there’s hurt in your heart

But you still see the good in life

I don't how you came out so right

But babe for that you’re da man

And I need you to undastand

That I know you’re even more special

I see you work because of that rental

And I know one day you’ll fill that potential

I was speechless

She said babe I mean it

Genius or not you got what I want

And I hope we never stop

I had to tell her we might not be forever

But this is our moment we can hold it

Together

Now a days, In the morning

Were waking up to more than yawning

And I get to see her eyes by my side

Still feel the rise inside

It’s my motivation as we ride

On our roads to our real lives

I told her baby don’t call shotgun

Cause it’s a throne this time

It’s like,

When we meet over our console

I move her hair from her face

See the portrait and proudly say

Queen C, baby, you’re my masterpiece

I hope you never leave

But if you do

I need you to know

You’re my Golden Fish

From the Sea

Queen C
