An Ode to Dogma

April 7, 2014
My dogma traps me blind
Shields and excuses prejudice behind
Millennia-old documents and white picket catholic chain link silvery keep-out fences
Where mommy only loves daddy and god and the damned immigrants commit vile offenses
Shush don't talk about such unpleasant things baby
Those liberal professors will burn in hell and not maybe
Thinking in black and white because Caramel and grey give indigestion
Oh! Hang the bastard for stealing but  universal healthcare? Shudder at the suggestion
Where is an everlasting light to guide me through this fog? Ah, but hate lies and corruption can always be covered up by my dog-ma.
