God's Demon
September 1, 2015
There's nothing like it.
The screams, the torment, the battered bodies.
The blood, bruises, and burns.
The tangible fear in the room.
The rush defeats the exhaustion.
But the best part is this:
I did it for Him.
All of the pain and tears.
All of the fire, hissing, and temptation.
It was all for His glory.
And to see Him rise from the grave
After His betrayal.
After 39 lashes.
After the cross.
I knew.
I had done it.
I had succeeded.
I was His.
I am God's demon.
