Traumatized

March 21, 2016

I just want to sleep.

The worst time for me is at night.

The screaming;

The beatings;

The crying;

I see it.

And what's worse......

I can still feel it; like its happening right now...

I try to drown it out with music;

But it's louder..

The worse memories run through my mind when I lay down to sleep.

These demons won't let me rest.

Why must I suffer??

The only way to sleep is to crash.

During the day I can't wait to go to bed.

For now, my eyes burn and they refuse to rest.

So, I just lay here and go through it until I fall asleep.

Then I wake up in the middle of the night and go through "it"

again... "it" is... HELL!
