What a Day

September 30, 2015

Though I write, I feel none-

I cannot say;

I would cry, but for one-

I should not stay.

And as I sit here thinking,

While these sands are in me sinking,

While these sounds continue clinking,

Oh, what a day.

I feel in my soul an Eden

Resting soft and lazily;

There I will remain in,

And turn off the tragedy.

In that paradise I stall,

As the sky begins to crawl,

As the world begins to fall,

Oh, what a day- for me.
