Jessica Webster

If you don't learn to write your own story, someone else will write it for you

20 poems·Since November 2018

Writing poetry is my passion but I recently joined a Toastmasters club in my area and I now enjoy speech writing. I am currently working on writing a book. They say you will never work a day in your life if you do something you love, well I love writing, and that is what I pray my profession will be. No, let me correct myself, my name is Jessica and I am a writer!

Anointing Please Don't Leave

May 17, 2019

Anointing Please Don’t Leave

Back slid a little bit

So once again I’m down on my knees

Anointing please don’t leave

Finish what you started

I want to thank you in advance

With you the victory I will achieve

Anointing please don’t leave

No longer do I want to be a slave to this sin, I want to bath in your covering

You are greater than the mind can conceive, more than the heart can receive

Anointing please don’t leave

Hallelujah, Glory to thy name, anything else before you is lame

It is said when praises go up blessings come down, I lift praise in the highest sound

Thank you for already showing me things I can’t believe

Anointing please don’t leave, I need you here today

In Jesus name bless me with discernment and the wisdom to know what to do with it

Let me enjoy eternal life with you, catch me as I bow down, submit and give my life to you

Let me be remembered for spreading your words across seas

Anointing please don’t leave
