Bliss

August 7, 2015

I awaken to sunshine

And the warmth of your skin

I can feel your calm breathing

As it tickles my chin

I stroke along your biceps

Beside you, I happily lay

I pull your love house closer

This is where I want to stay

Half asleep, I feel you tighten your grips

With one hand on my thigh

The other, on my hips

I think I heard the room sigh

This bed is our livelihood

And your presence is all It takes

To put my lotus in full bloom

And make my hormones quake

you're the sunshine to my sky

My satisfaction, my muse

You're the reason for every tear I cry

Though, to your pain, I'm immune

I'm honored to be your companion

I can't ask for more

In this race of love, I'm the champion

And you're all I've trained hard for

After awakening to sunshine

And calming at dusk

I'm pleased to be by your side

And the woman you trust
