Natural Peace

June 17, 2013
The silence is screaming, piercing my skull. Into the woods I ran, how could I have been such a gull? Now here I stand, breathless and alone. My heart now so cold, it turned into stone. “What have I done?” I called to the wind, “To deserve cold shoulders and chagrin?” The wind whistled through the branches in reply, I noticed there were no birds chirping nearby. I looked around and all I could see, Beady yellow eyes staring at me. I stumbled as a took a step back, Bracing myself for their attack. But what I did not know, Was that it was only a doe. The friendly looking deer took a step closer, I held my breath and looked down my nose at her. She slowly came up and began licking my hand, I could get used to this, nature being so grand. I have discovered that there is creation, With no fear of trepidation.
