Present Cure for the Past

January 9, 2015

You used to give me a reason to believe

You made me think I was not alone

But then you broke off and left me to grieve,

And why you did such so is still unknown

You used to be the beat of my heart,

                               But unfortunately we are apart

You left me with no beauty to see

Because there is no longer a “WE”,

I wish you could just come and take my hand

So we can walk on a path that will never end.

But faith is always washed away like sand

I just suffered trying to make this mend

But I must remember that now nothing can be healed

And where ever the lies start is exactly where the truth will be revealed.
