Day Thoughts

August 27, 2015

As I sit and gaze at the setting sun

Many amazing thoughts have crossed my mind

But pressing forward strongly is only one

Of a girl whose splendor is a rare find

Her eyes are as blue as the rolling sea

Sweet as the cool breeze on an autumn day

Extraordinary personality

I can never find the right words to say

Auburn hair soft and smooth like baby’s skin

Tall and sleek like the blue ice in the north

Waiting for the time I’ll see her again

Nothing in this world can equal her worth

Alas how can one such as I have her

For she’s gone when my daydream is over
