DRY IN THE RAIN.

December 17, 2018

Her eyes can see, and her heart can feel.

You could tell she wanted to heal.

Her skin is dry, but her clothes are dripping wet.

You could tell she wanted to hit reset.

She ripped her heart out and let it dry in the rain.

Watched it as it goes down the drain.

Her eyes are dry, but her soul is weeping.

She was fighting back her tears,

Covered her bleeding ears.

She ripped her heart out and let it dry in the rain.

She sang and danced under the rain.

She was cold, and paled,

Surely she’ll prevail.

Her mind was like a jail,

It narrowed as she exhales.

She banished her soul, and let it dry in the rain.

She’s as cold as ice, she have no soul.

Walking around without a fear of getting old.

Now she walks around without a heart,

Bluffing like it’s an Art.

It’s drying in the rain,

Let it dry, let it dry in the rain,

She cried!

I’ll come back, I just needed to unpack.

I’ll come back for them, I’ll no longer have to ask why.

For now I say goodbye, it is a beautiful day to fly.
