Chains

April 14, 2015

I look around my body and see chains

I look up to see your face staring at me

You have gotten me in these chains again.

I try to break free,

When I get close, you pull them tighter

These chains have given me a chance to think .

I notice that you're not pulling them tighter, but I am.

You were the one trying to set me free
