~Through a window~

August 3, 2016

Through a window, my song dances. Through a window, faint glances.

I saw you, you looked at me. Ran outside, the breeze fell, you see.

Tasted the scent. Felt your anxiety. It's not all just a memory.

It made me sad to see you scattered, as if our dreams had all been shattered.

I hear your heart still loud and clear. It's your heart, please don't fear.

No need to hide frustrations with a smile, I'll be hear all the while.

The drum that beats blood through my veins, you stole when it beat too slowly.

Since I met you, it beats continually and love flows uncontrollably.

You're my best friend, I hope you know. My love for you will only grow.

Window, window on the wall, you're my vision in the fall.

Through the window, you called and I came.

The wall's to fall, in Jesus' name.
