Never Lie Or Cheat

September 9, 2014

Never lie or cheat to the ones you love,
or soon, they'll end up just like a dove.
They come and go as they please,
and leave you beggin and crying on your knees.
They'll look to you and say,
"I  told you so, but now is the time that I must go.
Get your head right and your mind together,
and maybe, just maybe we'll get back together"
As the thought runs thru, your body gets cold,
your hands start reaching out for something to hold.
There's nothing in sight, nothing's in your way,
You begin to think they'll be back, or maybe the next day.
What can you do besides sit and wait,
and hope that one day you'll get your life straight.
I said it before, and I'll say it again,
never lie or cheat to the one you love my friend
