Bluebird

June 23, 2017

A bird sits happy on her tree

She's seen all that the world could see

She'd soared above mountains and touched the sky

No other bird could fly as high

The bird feels the warmth in her chest

But the warmth fades from in her nest

The accomplishments of where she flew

Meant nothing with no one to share them to.
