LONER

January 25, 2015

The mirror only brings out the flaws,

what no one can see,

its all I have though, its me

the feeling of knowing all about a body,

how it acts during the best of times--

and the worst.

Like a mother gazing at her baby with endless love,

noticing things that no one else would,

babies are a gift,

but what do babies become--

us.

The most precious gift,

I will never forget that about myself

cherish it all. cherish yourself.

cherish love--

And cherish what's real.
