Weakness in Grief

Weakness in Grief

Why

Why is the heart so weak

Why can't i even speak

Why has my courage failed

What have i done to deserve this grief

What can i do but weep

How can i move on

We never even got to sing any songs

I can

I will

Grief will not be my cage

I will see the moon rise once more

The sun set as it was before

I will see new days

New lights

New sights

I will move along and keep treading on.
