This Is Why I Write

June 17, 2013
I write because I feel alive I write because I feel obliged I write to fill the empty air with words I write to give the empty sheaths swords I write to give a dark dark hole, A light, a start, a Soul I write to give all my strife, A worth, a meaning, a breath of life I write to give my breathless lips, Something to hold, to say, or resist I write to take a meaningless word, And make it into something seen, felt, and Heard!
