The Slackers Mentality

July 8, 2014

The person who can get an F without sorrow
Who will put off an assignment and say "I'll do it tomorrow."

But tomorrow never comes for a slacker's lifestyle
For they daydream alot and there brain takes a while--to catch up to reality.
But amidst all the slacking it usually takes, a tradegy to change there mentality.

For stern talks from parents will no longer make the cut
They have no idea that there life's in a rut
24/7 there's time to kill
Will they change someday? Some never will
They have aspiration yet with no persistence
Not knowing they are affecting our own existence
By hard worker we are scolded and shoned
But some don't bother with us because in a way we're like them, A slacker's "work" is never done.
We're big in our minds yet have accomplished nothing in reality
And so lives on the slacker's mentality.
