I look up in the sky and see the illumination of the moon wink at me. I ask myself how this simple glimpse of light can rejuvenate this world that is smothered with darkness. Please Lord enlighten me, how do you grow the tree that bared the fruit where your creative juices flow? Is it Eve-Like of me to want to take a bite from the fruit of wisdom? You say I should walk in the path that brings me to a destination of self love, But is it wrong to take a step back and admire what you have created effortlessly? Yes I learn how to love that girl in the reflection She sees everything else but perfection Please remind her that her soul is what needs to be fed with greatness And not the vagueness of this flesh obsessed society She's shaken by the art thy hand has blissfully created Yet she is afraid to yet again exhalt herself. Her light is vaguely seen due to the fact that she has masked it with self doubt. Forgetting the fact that she needs to love the less obvious But some how she acknowledges that her life is art and it somewhat reflects the god in her.
