A Lack of Guidance

December 4, 2013

You say you are there

To help me achieve my all,

But when I look around

There is no one to catch my fall.

So many students

And so little time.

Where is my place

That I can’t seem to find?

I have no idea

Where to even begin.

So I guess I just have to

Start from within.

All by myself;

Searching alone.

Why can’t you help us

Feel more at home?

Your title of guidance

Is something you claim,

But I could lead myself better

And that is a shame.
