Heavenly Gates of Hell
July 10, 2014
Once upon a time a gate had opened
Gleaming, glossing, glistening, glowing
The gate had opened wide and stretched so long
But the sound was silent, with no ones knowing
The men behind the gate must have been so strong
The way they lifted the gate and just kept going
"Push and keep pushing 'til we can push no longer"
All the men commanded
"Lift and keep lifting 'til we can lift no longer!"
All the men demanded
They lifted this lonely gate
The gate that stood stranded
A marvelous gate indeed that I looked upon
Fire. Fire? Why is there fire?
Is this not the Heavenly gate I thought to be looking on?
There is fire!
Crackling, flaming, burning, smoking fire
I hope my eyes have deceived me, I wish my brain to be a liar
My palms are sweaty, my voice is cracking up
My feet are burning as well
'Fore my eyes have deceived me the first time
Into entering the heavenly gates of Hell
