Why I write

August 8, 2013

I once came upon a poem, it was like no other. My teacher asked me why it was my favorite, I told her it was because I understood the pain. Now I write for all the lonely hearts, I write for the misunderstood, I write for comfort. People look at my poetry, see all the stains on the paper, that was left behind by my tears. But no one see's, the smile on my face when I am done. Once I am done, I feel  a sense of closure. That is why I write. I write for closure, comfort, and understanding.
