Someone Please Save Me

November 14, 2012
I can’t sleep I can’t cry Yet there is no light Behind these blue-green eyes. Someone please save me. I can’t breathe This world is looking down on me Just because Just because I am me Just because I am free Just because I won’t be them I am who I am Me Just because I am pure And won’t become just some thing I save myself for him Who saves himself for me Who won’t throw me away Like an old toy someday Someone please save me I don’t want to see it I don’t want to hear it Why won’t someone push it away? I’m gunna fall, I’m gunna fall This world is trying to punish me Why can’t they just let me be? The teasing, the taunting It’s too much to bear My style, my looks The color of my hair. What I do, what I think They use it as weapons against me I’m small, yet strong They don’t give me a chance. Pretty, yet smart They don’t understand. Shy, yet brave. Don’t judge me because of my age. Don’t judge me because of my looks. Don’t judge me by what you hear. Don’t judge me at all. Someone please save me. I can’t breathe I can’t breathe The weight of the world Is crushing down on me. I try to scream But not a sound breaks free Someone… Please… Save me. Then again… Maybe I can save myself
