me stoned i dance

February 1, 2014

me stoned i dance

atmosphere hazy

perfect smoky

dim lights

with their greasy glow

stained glass lights

pretty ghost diamonds

dancing on the walls

three minutes of radio

three hours of time

me and michael jackson

sharing the stage

and the mike

and the moonwalk

slow motion

with a mirror for our audience

dancingsingingsweating

michael jackson and me

tightlikethis

best friends

hanging after the show

killing time till the next show

in foggy boarded up living room

damp dirty atmosphere

me and radio

watching shriveled cigarette butts

fade and fade some more

and die in crummy ashtrays

radio and me

waiting till the next show
