Chase the Loons

January 17, 2014

Im on a slow train

down to the south of main

scenes like a blank page

melancholy rain change

workin for myself man

nickle made of tin can

havnt got a single plan

reigns on my wingspan

release your from the old and mundane

keep riding on to a more glorious day

wearing out your sanity like an old dusty hat

cause the loons your chasing down just keep nipping at your back

he galloped that horse accross that tall dusty field

he chased the loons down

and it felt so sureal

a dream is just a dream until you rip it at the seams

now youll learn my heart is burning

and its my turn

and youll see

that train is rolling

hop aboard

you have my word

your the queen and im the knight

you can go anywhere you like

im always two steps one behind

i hope that crown someday you will find

the absence of poetry makes the mind go to sleep

while intellectual lovin is something you must seek

pyramids in the sky

goddess wont you let me fly

honey flowing down

from the wide roaming clouds

river flow to thee

like a channel to the sea

livin on the west coast

couldnt be more scared but

ive got a good life

everything is okay
